"Whatever parameter you
need to monitor - accurate
sensors and reliable data
transmission are absolutely
essential."
Our custom made
version of Vaisala's
new HMP50® sensor. A
professional radiation
shield protects the
sensor from direct
sunlight and provides
sufficient ventilation.
Solid UV resistant
elements reflect
radiation on their white
surface, while the black
inside absorbs
accumulating heat. The
Intercap® humidity
sensor element is
easily replaceable.
Agriculture is a tough
environment. Equipment
gets banged around, gets
sprayed with agri
chemicals and fertilizer,
not to mention bird
droppings. And yes, it's
still meant to be accurate
for a long time! Our
Standard Model Rain
Gauge combines all these
requirements in a robust,
compact and still very
economical unit.
Our standard Wind Speed
sensor is built around an
AC generator (without
brushes) and a rectifier. It
has a very low starting
speed, while measuring
up to 200 km/h. All
external sensor parts are
made of highly resistive
plastics for many years of
reliable operation. The
Wind Direction sensor is
based on a precision
potentiometer.
With the new WXT510
Vaisala of Finland has
launched a truly
revolutionary product.
After many years of
research the WXT510
provides standard
temperature, humidity and
barometric pressure
sensors, combined with
top quality ultra sonic wind
speed and direction
measurement and a
revolutionary new
sound-based precipitation
gauge. And all this with a
very attractive price tag!
The leaf wetness sensor
works on the principle of
electric conductivity,
measuring in ten
increments if the sensor
surface is anything from
completely dry to
completely wet.
Kipp & Zonen SP-Lite
This silicium-pyranometer
was especially designed
for calculating
evapotranspiration for
precision irrigation
purposes, monitor solar
panels in energy
production, for air
pollution dispersion
calculations and similar
applications. SP-Lite can
be used under all weather
conditions. It compares
favorably to ISO
9060-specified First Class
Thermopile Pyranometers
under clear and
unobstructed natural
daylight conditions.
This highly professional
pair of sensors is
manufactured for Adcon
by one of Germanies's
most reputed sensor
manufacturers. The
housings of both sensors
are made of extremely
robust, seawater resistant
anodized aluminum, to
withstand even the
harshest of conditions.
The Wind Speed Sensor
has a very low strating
threshold of only 0.5m/s,
thanks to its generously
dimensioned aluminum
cups. Dual low-friction ball
bearings ensure high
accuracy and a long
service life. The rotating
3-cup unit can be replaced
in the field. The sensor will
measure speeds of up to
200 km/h.
Adcon's digitally
compensated level
sensors are top quality
products Made in
Switzerland, and are
suitable for a wide range
of applications. A
pressure relief cartridge
with a silica pack inside is
fitted to the end of the
reference tube, which is
embedded into the cable,
to prevent condensation
from blocking barometric
pressure compensation.
Many measuring ranges
are available, from 50cm
to 20m. The probes are
extremely accurate and
provide excellent long
term stability.
Our highly accurate
manometer probes are a
top quality product Made
in Switzerland. Digital
temperature
compensation right next to
the pressure transmitter
ensures extreme accuracy
and repeatability, while at
the same time providing
excellent long term
stability. These pressure
transducers take absolute
readings, and are
available for many
pressure ranges. Customs
pressures of up to 100bar
available. Each probe
provides an integrated
1/4" mounting thread.
Adapters for 1/2" and NPT
threads are available
upon request.
There are many different
crops. There are many
different soils. But for
every crop and every soil
there is the right sensor.
We deploy over 12
different kinds of industry
standard soil moisture
sensors. The sensors
utilize commercially and
scientifically proven
techniques to provide
readings that are highly
repeatable. The use of
either default calibrations
or site specific
calibrations enables soil
moisture content to be
determined with a high
degree of accuracy
across the full range of
soil types.
WiDAQ solutions include a wide range of
highly accurate sensors to measure weather,
soil and water conditions. All sensors can be
attached to any Adcon radio and do not
require additional power supply. Sensors
range from simple Watermarks to highly
sophisticated multi-level soil moisture probes
and a state-of-the-art salinity probe
